How To Make A Chicken Rub Recipe That Actually Is Chicken

1128

If you’ve never made a homemade chicken marinade, then you’re definitely missing out. Even if you have made some chicken dishes in the past, using a homemade marinade is a great way to add that special flavour to something you already make, like Southern California barbecue. Marinating the meat for hours, and then slow-cooking it into a delicious sauce is something many chefs get wrong, and usually end up tweaking their recipes. The good news is that you don’t need to learn to make these traditional recipes – making your own dry rubs instead is easy, fast and really cost-effective.

The Basics

The secret to making any marinade tasty is applying it directly to the meat. Most people think that marinating the meat overnight and refrigerating it while the next day you simply grill it is how to make these simple, delicious barbecue rubs. However, since this is not how to make them, these recipes need to be tweaked to ensure that every time you make them you’ll get amazing, fresh-tasting results. This is why we use powdered chicken breast rub or a rub made with flour, onion, garlic and seasonings to cook our food in. In order to get these flavours right, you will need to make the rub at the same temperature as the meat, which makes for an even more delicious, mouthwatering marinade.

Most people think of barbeque chicken rub as a dry rub, but we have yet to find one that uses a combination of dry and wet rubs to create the most delicious dish. Most people go with just a dry rub because it’s quicker and less expensive, but we have found a delicious chicken rub recipe that does both dry and wet rubs. After we created this delicious recipe, we decided to name it “chicken wing” since we love cooking chicken wings. You can create this delicious chicken wing in about 10 minutes and it makes for a perfect recipe for a tailgate party.

The Ingredients

The ingredients for this delicious chicken rub are a half cup of Worcestershire sauce, a tablespoon of dry mustard, a quarter cup of chicken pepper (more on that in a minute) and two teaspoons of ground black pepper (more on that in a minute). You will also want to have your own Worcestershire sauce, which you can purchase at your local grocery store or online. If you are using a bottle, you may want to double or triple the recipe. The dry rub ingredients will be a quarter cup of chicken pepper (more on that in a minute) and two tablespoons of dry mustard. You will also want to have your own Worcestershire sauce, which you can purchase at your local grocery store or online.

Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. You can use your hand or a food processor to mix all of the ingredients together. Once you have mixed the dry rub marinate the meat in the mixture for about twenty minutes to give it the perfect flavour. Now it’s time to cook the piece of raw chicken!

In a large saucepan or a non-stick skillet, cook the chicken piece on one side over medium heat. Once the meat becomes opaque and flakes easily when pressed with a spatula, remove it from the heat and let cool. Scrape off any excess oil and place it in your vacuum-sealed container. Seal tightly and refrigerate until ready to use. Now all you have to do is add a few drops of your favourite flavour. Your dinner guests will rave about your spicy rub and you can guarantee they won’t know it’s not real chicken!
